Family: His parents are Frank and Alice Longbottom (former Order of the Phoenix members) who are currently permanent patients at St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries after being driven insane by Death Eaters. He lives with his paternal Grandmother who is a respected, strict and intimidating witch.

Relationships: While he doesn't really have a 'best friend', he would consider his close friends to be Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Dean Thomas, and Seamus Finnigan. He also gets along well with the other D.A. members.

Place Of Residence: He and his grandmother currently live in Lancashire.

History: Never the best at anything, Neville was just the clumsy, short, chubby, easily forgotten kid when he first entered Hogwarts. Having very little self-esteem, and not a great deal of natural skill, Neville didn’t really have the courage to attempt to make a name for himself. Later, after he discovered his talent for Herbology, grew a few inches, and shed most of his baby fat, he gained a bit of self confidence and not only started performing a little better in school, but managed to acquire some courage and just a bit of charisma. Although he’s still as clumsy as ever, and will never be Head Boy, he’s generally good tempered, optimistic, and a loyal friend.
